Our Safety Commitment at Hillside Manor

Hillside Manor makes safety as a serious commitment. We have emergency power provided by an auxiliary back-up generator. The facility is protected by an automatic door security alarm system. Each bedroom and gathering area has a smoke detector and the food preparation and heating areas are equipped with heat sensing units. Each bathroom shower is equipped with scald proof valves (105 degree temperature maximum) and safety bars. The facility is “smoking free” where smoking is only permitted outdoors. The critical areas of the facility a have a fire suppression sprinkler system including the kitchen, food storage, laundry and beautician areas.
